The median lease price in July 2015 for Austin-area home leases was $1,550, three percent higher than in July 2014. This amount equates to $18,600 a year. It's hard for me to understand "why" people continue to pay this high rental amount verses buying a home. Right now, I'm sending a challenge out to all RENTERS...
